The apartment is beautiful (see pictures) and really cheap, located on the beautiful island of Cheung Chau. Cheung Chau is pedestrianised, with only a handful of emergency vehicles. Nonetheless, it has a thriving town centre and over 30,000 inhabitants. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, shops and even a curry house! There are regular ferries to Central, taking between 35 and 55 minutes depending on your budget.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a low-rise building in a peaceful area, about twenty minutes’ walk from the ferry pier. The views are unbeatable as the building sits atop a cliff; you can see all the way across to Lamma and Hong Kong Island on a clear day. This flat in Central would cost a fortune.
The kitchen is western-style, with a big fridge/freezer, washing machine, big sink and draining board, extractor hood, electric woks and a little bagel oven that goes PING! The main bathroom has a full-size bathtub with a powerful shower and a sink. The living room is huge and has lovely ceiling to floor windows. There is NOW TV and wireless broadband in the apartment.
The master bedroom is quite large and has a double mattress (no bed frame at present but very comfortable without) and the same stunning view as the living room. The master en-suite is a wet room with toilet and also has great water pressure.
