Regret dropping PIANO LESSONS back then?

Many times have friends told me that they once played the piano at a young age, but gave up eventually for a variety of reasons, the most common being that they don't enjoy it at all because every lesson is mundane and a bore - never being able to play their favourite piece of music.

 

It is a very satisfying experience being able to sit at an instrument and make music - as well as create music. Perhaps, after a long day at work, some relaxing slow piano ballad will help you unwind; or even while hosting a party to entertain guests. Playing does not neccessarily need to be confined to the score you have infront of you. Improvisation (creating your own music on the spot) is a skill that will stay with you for a lifetime.

 

With the correct approach to learning and revision, learning piano will be a fruitful musical experience.
