Yin Yoga with Alvin
“To gain flexibility, strength and sensitivity in mind, body and spirit”
Alvin has been practising yoga for 6 years. He is a registered E-RYT 200 yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance, a renowned US national professional body. The teacher training he received is mostly Iyengar-based – noted for through the in-depth study of asanas (posture) and pranayama (breath control) to gain great awareness to detail, posture, and alignment of our bodies, to help improve the flexibility and vitality of the body, and to promote the stillness of the mind.
Having been worked as a teacher / trainer in customer service field for over 20 years, Alvin is good with people and attentive to their needs. Only in eight months working with Planet Yoga, he has build up a sizeable group of members who came to his classes on a regular basis, at peak times his classes would be ¾ to completely full (as many as 65 in a class) .
In Alvin’s teaching, he encourages students to be aware of their breathing and postural alignment, and his classes are conducted with care and attention to all students.
Teaching Experience
Taught at an International School in HK, conducted Yoga-based wellness workshops for the students in year of age 12 to 13.
Taught in Planet Yoga in HK, for general classes and 1-on-1 training. The classes he taught were: Gentle Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Asana & Pranayama, Hatha, Hatha Stretch, Hatha Flow, Hot Yoga, Power Yoga, Hatha Poorna, Cardio-Core Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga. ‘One of our favourite teachers at Planet Yoga’, quoted from Planet Yoga Facebook.
